Now Hiring – Sr. Financial Analyst – Cranford, NJ


Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Extra hours as required during month end close)


The Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  1. Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, variance reporting, etc.
  2. Review data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighting.
  3. Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and account receivable.
  4. Report results of statistical and financial analysis, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.
  5. Provide analytical, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting support to senior management.
  6. Ensures monthly accruals are properly booked, and reversed.
  7. Ensures transactions are properly booked in the month they are incurred.
  8. Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger in Oracle and reconcile with general ledger monthly.
  9. Reconcile balance sheet and reserve accounts monthly.
  10. Assist with month end and year end close.
  11. Handle all banking transactions.
  12. Perform other duties as needed. 



Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance


Professional Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in financial reporting, analysis and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and maintain accuracy.
  • Ability to multi task and strong follow through skills.
  • Experience handling large volume of data.
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel (Pivot tables & VLOOKUPS), Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Oracle/HFM/GL Wand (preferred).
