Now Hiring - Human Resources Specialist - San Juan, Puerto Rico


Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm


The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to:


  1. Acts as liaison with corporate human resource department.
  2. Provides this department with required reports and forms.
  3. Responsible for maintaining and tracking employee health benefits within the Oracle HRMS system.
  4. Acts as liaison with corporate benefits professionals and staff to resolve issues that occur relating to employee health benefits.
  5. Maintains employee personnel files.
  6. Notifies employees of need to update licenses, insurance, and physical examinations.
  7. Coordinates hiring process. Ensures that all documents necessary for hire are completed.
  8. Assists with payroll and accounts payable when necessary.



Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field


Professional Experience:

  • Solid understanding of Human Resources function (i.e. Recruiting, Hiring, Policies, Practices, Performance Appraisals, Benefits, Terminations, etc.)
  • Experience in a Healthcare setting required
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws specific to Puerto Rico 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter
