Now Hiring – Homemaker/Sitter/Companion South Region of Puerto Rico


Hours:  Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm


The Homemaker will be responsible for, but are not limited to:


  1. Promote positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees. Maintains client confidentiality.
  2. Provides an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy and property.
  3. Provides light housekeeping, laundry services, errands, assists with meal preparation, per plan of care.
  4. Provides necessary skill to appropriately report changes to ensure continuity of care.
  5. Practice accepted infection control principles.
  6. Provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment for the client by providing.
  7. Provide skills necessary to perform assigned functions according to agency policy.
  8. Contribute to the management and efficient operation of the agency and demonstrate effective time management skills.
  9. Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency by attending required in-services.
  10. Promote the agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.




High School Diploma or GED


Professional Experience:

  • One-year experience in providing services to individuals needing homemaker/companion assistance, in preferred.
  • Must be able to read and write in English and follow written and verbal instructions in English effectively. Demonstrates interest in the welfare of ill and elderly. Competent to perform tasks assigned by Supervisor;
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
