Now Hiring - HR Liaison/Office Manager - San Juan, PR

 

Hours:  Monday - Friday 8:30a-5:00p

 

The Office Manager/HR Liaison will be responsible for, but are not limited to:

 

  1. Participates in recruitment/outreach programs
  2. Facilitates the candidate selection process
  3. Reviews and screens applications and resumes for qualified candidates
  4. Coordinates the on-boarding process for all new employees and rehires by ensuring all pre-employment paperwork is collected and criminal background investigations, toxicology results and physicals are completed.
  5. Conducts new hire orientation by collection all documentation required for the personnel file and payroll, ensuring that information is provided on the various programs and non-health related benefits and that all compliance videos are viewed and test completed.
  6. Prepares new employee file and ensures that all required documents have been received for data entry in HRIS system.
  7. Develops and maintains positive relationships with employees to promote effective communication and establish trust.
  8. Responds to general employee inquiries in a timely manner.
  9. Responsible for ensuring that professional licenses, certifications, driver license, automobile insurance/registrations, PPD and all other documentation that must be updated annually is completed and file in the personnel file.
  10. Serves as liaison between corporate human resources department and HR Liaison/office manager in all states to ensure that the HR Liaison/office manager completes orientation in accordance with HR processes, follows policies and procedures related to annual documentation collection and maintains personnel files in accordance with HR guidelines.
  11. Perform other HR related activities and participates in special projects, as required. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by organizational and departmental needs

Qualifications

Education:

Associate's Degree preferred

 

Professional Experience:

  • 2-4 years of relevant HR experience
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience working with HRIS/database
  • Healthcare background, strongly preferred
  • Payroll and scheduling experience, desirable
  • Experience with HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and effective organizational skills
  • PC literate including Excel and Word, and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
